# Command Stone — The Mind

The stone reads a sentence the way the [Composer](/docs/composer) reads its rules. One sentence can become a watch that pings you, or a question put to every Output on PD at once.

**How:** Type a sentence that starts with `tell me when`, `ping me when` or `show me`, for example `tell me when a moody prisms lists under 0.2`.

## Say it, it watches

`tell me when …`, `ping me if …` and `watch for …` turn the rest of the sentence into Composer rules, show them back to you, and count what matches right now. The button arms the watch: PD checks it every minute and pings you once for each new match.

```show stone
{
  "caption": "One sentence, one watch. The chips are the stone's reading, so you see exactly what it will watch before you arm it. The real card also shows a wall of the Outputs matching now. Counts here are examples.",
  "asks": [
    { "ask": "tell me when a moody prisms lists under 0.2", "line": "Said. Now I wait.", "sub": "I read the whole catalog every minute.",
      "cards": [{ "title": "SAY IT · I WATCH", "glyph": "⊚", "titleSub": "MOODY PRISMS LISTS UNDER 0.2",
        "say": "3 MATCH RIGHT NOW. ARM IT AND I PING YOU ON EVERY NEW ONE.",
        "tiles": [
          { "label": "MATCHING NOW", "glyph": "1425 READ", "big": "3", "sub": "NOT ARMED" },
          { "label": "I HEARD", "glyph": "2 RULES", "rows": [["✹︎ BELOW 0.2 ◊︎", ""], ["◕︎ IS ANY OF MOODY", ""], ["1 PROJECT", ""]] },
          { "size": "wide", "label": "READ BACK", "sub": "EVERY PRISMS OUTPUT UNDER 0.2◊︎, MOODY IN TONE — CHEAPEST FIRST." }
        ] }],
      "foot": "⊚︎ WATCH IT · PING ME ON A NEW MATCH",
      "does": "Saves the sentence as a watched Program. The toast reads Watch: ON · MOODY PRISMS LISTS UNDER 0.2." }
  ]
}
```

- **What it can watch:** price (`under 0.2`), listed, the Fingerprint words (`moody`, `warm`, `busy`), a feel (`something neon`), a look (`something that looks like this`, with the Output on your screen), a Project, a trait, and who holds it (`owned by my mutuals`).
- **The watch is a Program.** Once armed, the same card reads WATCHING. and the button turns it off. It also opens in the Composer ⊚ with every match.
- **When it fires** the ping leads the stone's stack as A WATCH FIRED. Tap it and the Output opens with the stone up and BUY on the button.
- **A floor alone is simpler.** `tell me when prisms drops under 0.2` sets a Sentinel to-do on the floor instead ([etching](/docs/command-stone/abilities#etch-say-it-it-exists)).

## Ask the whole catalog

A sentence that starts with `show me`, `find` or `how many`, or one that only describes Outputs, runs live over every Output on PD. You get the count, a wall of the matches, and a button to keep it.

| Type | Get |
|---|---|
| `show me warm outputs under 0.3` | Every warm Output under 0.3, cheapest first |
| `how many arcology outputs are listed under 0.3` | Just the number, then the wall |
| `warm busy outputs under 0.3 owned by my mutuals` | A line that only describes Outputs works when every word in it is read |

The button reads ⊚ SAVE AS PROGRAM (toast: `Program: SAVED · …`). A saved Program can then be watched from the same card. Words the stone couldn't read are listed under the card, so you know what it skipped.

## Your money, reasoned

Every number comes from the ledger: what each Output you hold cost you, against today's floors. An Output whose Project has no floor is counted as unpriced, and a gift has no cost.

| Type | Get |
|---|---|
| `what's my collection worth` · `… in cad` | What you hold is worth at today's floors, in ETH and your currency, against what it cost, by Project |
| `what if i sold my arcology at floor` | What you'd clear selling at the floor, after the 5% royalty and gas; the button lists it |
| `my best flip` · `my worst buy` | The Output you hold that's up the most, or down the most, against what you paid, at today's floor |
| `what did i spend this month` · `today` · `in the last 30 days` | What you spent in that window |
| `how's my bag` · `am i up` | The short version |

## Why it moved

| Type | Get |
|---|---|
| `why did voltaic drop` · `what's going on with voltaic` | WHY IT MOVED ▼: the floor then and now, the listings and sales behind the move with who and when, and the rest of the tape. The button buys the cheapest when there is one, or finds a deal |
| `what happened today` · `what did i miss` | TODAY ON PD ❡: the day's sales, mints and listings, and what moved |

## It shows its work

While a card is working, the stone's top line says the real step it's on ("Reading every output on PD…", "Running 2 rules over 1,425 outputs…"), then the answer types itself in.
