# Uptime & Incidents

**Version française : [Disponibilité et incidents](/docs/legal/fr/disponibilite).**

Last updated **October 20, 2026**.

PD is free to use and offers no paid service-level agreement. Here is what it commits to instead.

## What keeps working when PD is down

- **The art.** Every Output renders from Ethereum alone. No PD server is needed to see it, anywhere.
- **Your tokens.** They're in your wallet, not in PD. You can send them, and sell them anywhere that reads Ethereum.
- **Your money.** PD never holds it, so an outage never touches it.

What pauses is the app itself: the social layer, PD's books, the Studio and the Command Stone.

## What PD commits to

- **Watching it.** PD's background jobs and Discord feeds report on themselves, and a failing one alerts PD.
- **Showing it, live.** [status.pricediscussion.com](https://status.pricediscussion.com) checks the app, the chain jobs
and the Discord feeds around the clock, keeps 90 days of history, and runs apart from PD, so it's up when PD isn't.
- **Saying so.** Outages and fixes are posted in PD's Discord as they happen, and big ones go in the
  [changelog](/docs/whats-new).
- **Owning it.** When something breaks, PD finds the cause before it ships a fix, and says plainly what happened.
- **Never showing stale numbers.** When PD can't read a live price, it says so instead of showing an old one.

## What PD doesn't promise

PD is provided as is ([Terms of Use](/docs/legal/terms), section 16). It doesn't guarantee a level of uptime, and it
isn't responsible for Ethereum, your wallet or the other services PD works with being up.
