The App — Settings & Display

MY PD is the settings surface — but on PriceOS, display is a first-class feature, not a preferences afterthought. The interface is an instrument; this is where you tune it. And the panel's title is itself a control: triple-tap the MY PD header to open the Spell Book.

How: Open the connect menu — MY PD is the settings surface inside.

The MY PD panel, annotated: the header (triple-tap opens the Spell Book), the colorway picker row, the two display-mode pill rows, the Setup Code field, the MY PINGS row, the DEFAULT SORT row, and the workspace dots row ending in the sound key. MY PD ①︎ the panel header — triple-tap it COLORWAY ②︎ ◩︎ ◻︎ ◼︎ ▨︎ ⁂︎ B R DISPLAY ③︎ PL PD ‰ ○︎ ⛶︎ ⊞︎ ☼︎ ④︎ z ◎︎ ⛆︎ ⟁︎ ⍢︎ ⇠︎ ⏥︎ ⍖︎ SETUP CODE ⑤︎ PD22-KIKI-… ⧉︎ MY PINGS ⑥︎ ⇡︎ ⏾︎ ◍︎ ✦︎ ⊙︎ DEFAULT SORT ⑦︎ ◷︎ $ AZ ⁘︎ ⑧︎ ● ● ● ⚟︎

What each numbered part does, tap by tap:

  • ①︎ The MY PD header — triple-tap it and the panel flips to the Spell Book; triple-tap the SPELL BOOK header to flip back.
  • ②︎ The colorway picker — one tap paints the whole app: ◩ Custom (per-page colors) · ◻ Light · ◼ Dark · ▨ Orange · ⁂ Hash Synesthesia · B Blueberry · R Cherry. Haze Mode hides behind this row for those who find it.
  • ③︎ Display row one — the big switches — PL Pure Light · PD Pure Dark · ‰ Price Logo · ○ Anon · ⛶ Zen · ⊞ Sticker Mode · ☼ Ambient Strip. Each pill toasts its new state as it flips.
  • ④︎ Display row two — the instruments — z Zero Context · ◎ Price Lens · ⛆ Sentiment Weather · ⟁ Cartel · ⍢ ASCII-ID · ⇠ Back Button · ⏥ Menu Tape · ⍖ Auto-Scroll.
  • ⑤︎ Setup Code — your whole configuration as one shareable string; ⧉ copies it, pasting one and pressing Enter wears it.
  • ⑥︎ MY PINGS — the notification bank, pill by pill; ⇡ cycles how far pings reach, ⏾ cycles Silent Mode → Quiet Hours. The full walk-through is Pings — Controls.
  • ⑦︎ DEFAULT SORT — the sort and grouping (⁘) the app boots with and re-applies on every project entry.
  • ⑧︎ The workspace dots — your saved Workspaces, one tap each; the ⚟ key at the end is the sound layer, off by default.

(Schematic — rows are abbreviated; the real panel carries every pill.)

Colorways

The colorway picker paints the entire app through one variable system:

Pill Colorway
◩ Custom — the per-page default: home wears the daily Mood Ring, Projects their artist's color, profiles their owner's
◻ Light Mode
◼ Dark Mode
▨ Orange Mode
⁂ Hash Synesthesia — color driven by chain data
B Blueberry Mode
R Cherry Mode

A hidden Haze Mode lives behind the picker for the collectors who find it: your own hex, with animated variations (tint, drift, pulse, chromatic) and a dropper (◉) that samples any page's live color. An explicit pick wins on every page; the Custom default keeps the per-page colors. These docs carry the same picker and default to Dark.

Beside it, Profile Colorway sets the color your profile paints for every visitor — your page, your ink.

Display modes — the two pill rows

Lenses on the rendering itself: stackable, persistent, instant, and each one toasts its new state as it flips.

Row one — the big switches:

Pill Mode What it does
PL Pure Light Locks the interface white-on-light, everywhere
PD Pure Dark The inverse lock
‰ Price Logo The logo mark leads the interface
○ Anon Mode Strips your own identity from your view
⛶ Zen Mode Strips the interface down to the art
⊞ Sticker Mode Hides your stickers — the collection keeps, the layer rests
☼ Ambient Strip The late-night dimmer: pulls the whole interface to ember levels without moving a pixel of layout

Row two — the instruments:

Pill Mode What it does
z Zero Context Removes explanatory context — the confident-collector setting
◎ Price Lens Floor-relative pricing: every price reads against its floor
⛆ Sentiment Weather The crowd's mood as ambient weather — the eight skies are below
⟁ Cartel You + your mutuals = the Cabal: project pages count how many of your mutuals also hold the work
⍢ ASCII-ID Identity surfaces swap to their text-art form
⇠ Back Button A persistent back arrow under the menu, for collectors who navigate that way
⏥ Menu Tape Runs the tape treatment through the menu itself
⍖ Auto-Scroll The interface browses for you

Modes compose — a Zen + Price Lens session is a different app from a Sticker + Ambient one, by design.

Sentiment Weather ⛆ — the eight skies

With Sentiment Weather on, the interface carries a single mark for how the room is behaving right now. It is read from the live ledger — mints and sales are buying pressure, listings are supply — weighted so the last few hours matter most. Eight states, brightest to worst:

Sky State What the room is doing
☼ Strong Bull Buyers taking everything offered
✷ Bull Demand clearly leading supply
✵ Lean Bull Tilted to buyers, but not decisively
☽ Neutral Balanced — or too quiet to call, which reads the same and says so honestly
☁ Lean Bear Overcast: listings arriving faster than they clear
↯ Bear The strike — supply hitting hard
⛇ Strong Bear The freeze
☈ Capitulation The storm. Needs an extreme reading and real volume behind it — a quiet drift never reads as a crash

Every glyph in the ladder is drawn as text, never as a color emoji, so the weather sits in the interface at the same weight as everything else PD draws.

The Showcase pill

Cycles your profile Showcase's engine — Static ⑆ › Generative ⑇ › Gen Curated ⑈ › Artist ⑉ (the Artist face appears for whitelisted artists with a released Project). Detail in Identity & Profiles.

Setup Codes

The Setup Code field encodes your entire PD configuration as a short shareable string — copy it (⧉), send it, paste any code and press Enter to wear someone else's whole setup. Codes round-trip losslessly, and they're the backbone of Workspaces below. (The Sticker Manager carries its own narrower code for just the sticker arrangement.)

Workspaces

Workspaces are saved configurations you switch between with one tap — the same collection, held differently for different jobs. The shipped set is nine working personas:

Main · Curator · Scout · Trader · Oracle · Socialite · Insider · Degen · DJ

— each a Setup Code under the hood (the Oracle leads with Celestial and Price Lens; the Trader arms Price Lens, Offer Shield, Sentiment, and the Watch; the Scout hazes the room and watches everything; the Socialite warms the room and narrows the feed to your mutuals; the Insider hears the feed as gossip with every instrument listening; the Degen shops numbers over art; the DJ lights the rig and lets the room play itself). Creating your own workspace opens the naming sheet with the Spaces shelf — a library of mood presets (Observatory, Museum, The Village, Stargazer, Mission Control, and more) to start from, or start from exactly what you're wearing now.

Pings & the Default Sort

  • The MY PINGS bank — what reaches you and how loudly, pill by pill, including Silent Mode ⏾ — has its own page.
  • The DEFAULT SORT row sets the sort and the grouping (the ⁘ pill, cycling the full dimension order — see Outputs) that boot the app and re-apply on every project entry.

Fiat mode & currencies

Prices can wear a fiat estimate beside the ◊. Seven currencies ride the fiat pill: USD · CAD · GBP · EUR · AUD · PHP · JPY, live-rated. Dollar currencies print a plain $ — no letter prefixes, ever.

Sound ⚟

The platform's sound layer lives behind the ⚟ key — the last key in the workspace dots row, off by default. Switched on, real moments get real sounds: a chime when a mint lands, a tick on settings keys, a coin when one of your Outputs sells, a seal when an offer or trade is accepted. Ping blips follow the same rules as ping toasts, so silence settings are always respected.

Silent Mode & Quiet Hours ⏾

The Silent Mode pill cycles OFF → ON → QUIET HOURS. Quiet Hours silences native push only inside a nightly window you set (pre-filled 22:00–08:00, your local time) — in-app pings keep landing, and everything is waiting for you in the morning.

One hard rule of the design

Everything meant to be read is legible at full strength — resting UI never hides behind decorative transparency. Fading carries meaning on PD (a completed To-Do, a disabled control, the Fog) or it doesn't happen.
