The Command Stone ⌘

The fastest path to anything in PD is not a menu. Signed in, triple-tap the background of any page — anywhere in the app, docs included — and the Command Stone rises: the platform's command line, in a speech bubble, open and ready to type.

How: Signed in, triple-tap the background of any page.

The Command Stone bubble, annotated: the two dialogue rows on top, the widget cards in the middle carrying the actual answer, the one action button at the bottom, and the input field where everything is typed. ①︎ "The floor is 0.24." "It was less yesterday. Draw your own conclusions." ②︎ KIKI · FLOOR ◊ 0.24 ▁▂▄▆█ 7-day ③︎ ♆︎ ANCHOR THE FLOOR ④︎ ask · find · compute · etch…
  • ①︎ The dialogue — the Stone speaks first: a terse line, then a drier aside.
  • ②︎ The widgets — glanceable cards with the real data; long answers scroll here.
  • ③︎ The action — every answer that can be acted on offers its one obvious next move.
  • ④︎ The input — one field, no modes; the full phrasebook is Abilities.

Every other character on the platform has a personality. The Stone has power and intelligence. It reads what you meant, answers from the same ledger the rest of the platform runs on, and acts on the answer — all in one field.

How it speaks

Every response arrives in the same speech bubble, built the same way, top to bottom:

  1. The dialogue — two rows at the top. The Stone speaks first: a terse line, then a drier aside. Same question, same mood; new question, new mood.
  2. The widgets — the middle of the bubble. Glanceable black cards carrying the actual answer: big type, real data, live numbers. Long answers scroll here while the dialogue and the button hold their ground.
  3. The action — one button at the bottom. Every answer that can be acted on offers its one obvious next move: anchor the floor, wishlist the Output, open the winner, etch the to-do. One tap, done.

What it understands

One input, no modes. The Stone hears which of these you meant:

  • Find — the real global search, inline: people, projects, Outputs, pages. Enter takes the top hit.
  • Ask — questions about the market, answered from the ledger: floors, all-time highs, volumes, who holds what, first mints, release dates, the platform's biggest spenders.
  • Compute — math typed straight in (3*67), money converted at the live rate (0.05 eth to cad), dates resolved from plain words (next week tuesday).
  • Etch — natural-language creation: type a to-do, a note, an anchor, a watch or a wishlist line and commit it with a second touch. An etched item rides the same stores the full tools use.
  • Cast — spell, mode and workspace names flip the real settings, by their exact names. Typing fog casts Fog.
  • Summon — whole surfaces called by name and returned inline: calendar, priceday, calc, gallery, matrix, and the rest of the deck.

The complete command reference — every phrase, every widget, every example — lives on its own page: Abilities.

It remembers, and it sees

The Stone keeps its last subject. Ask "prisms floor", then just "ath" — it knows you still mean Prisms. Summon it while looking at an Output and it adopts that Output as its subject, so a bare "floor" or "calc 0.2" means the thing on your screen.

Getting rid of it

Minimize it to a single dot in the corner — swipe the bar down, or type minimize — and tap the dot to bring it back. Close it completely with another triple-tap on the background, or by typing close. It says goodbye. It means "see you soon."
