Command Stone — The Eye

The stone reads every Output's Fingerprint: its real colors, light, warmth, busyness, grain and form, stored when the Output's picture is first read. That lets it describe a piece, find others that look like it, and find art by feel.

How: With an Output on your screen, ask the stone what do you see, or name one: describe voltaic 8.

What it sees

what do you see reads the Output on your screen; describe voltaic 8 reads a named one. The card leads with the stored scene, then the mood, the dominant color, and how the piece stands out in its own Project. The button opens the Output.

describe voltaic 8
The stone's read of one Output. The real card leads with the piece itself, scanned in ASCII as it reads. The words here are an example.

Two at once: voltaic 8 vs voltaic 12 (or compare voltaic 8 and arcology 3) lays the pair side by side and says how they differ, in words like BRIGHTER, CALMER or MORE VIVID, with rarity and price.

Looks like this

what looks like this finds the Outputs anywhere on PD that look most like the one on your screen, by real colors first, then light, busyness, warmth and form. Each one shows how alike it is as a percentage. Narrow it at the end of the line:

Type Get
what looks like this · looks like voltaic 8 The closest Outputs across all of PD
… but cheaper Only listed ones priced under this one
… listed under 0.1 Only listed ones under that price
… from other projects Only ones from other Projects
projects like arcology Whole Projects compared by their look

With a price filter on the line, the button buys the closest match: it opens the BUY card, which asks before it spends.

Art by feel

something that feels like a city at night finds the words the stone knows in your line (here: city, night) and brings back the Outputs whose Fingerprints read that way, closest first, with how much of the feeling each one matches. Words it doesn't know are left out; if it knows none, the line stays a search.

How: Type something that feels like and a feeling, for example something that feels like a city at night.

Your taste

Type Get
my taste · my prynt Your Prynt ⌾: what you hold, read as one drawing, with your real colors (never blended) and four taste axes
what fits my taste for sale Listed Outputs nearest your taste; the button buys the closest
taste twins · collectors like me The collectors whose holdings look most like yours

The Prynt lives in two places only: here, and as the last tile of an Output's Fingerprint group on its Attributes tab.

Wear it

wear this (or wear voltaic 8) puts the whole app in that Output's color, through Haze. Your colorway and Haze color are saved to your account first, and take it off puts both back exactly.
