Takeover ⚑
A takeover is one collector making a public, premium, simultaneous offer on every Output of another collector's position in a single project. The street gets to watch.
How: On a collector's profile, tap the ⚑ flag in the action row — it appears when they hold 3+ Outputs of one project.
Casting one
On any collector's profile, the ⚑ flag in the action row (it names itself in a toast) opens the cast sheet:
- Pick the position. Only holdings of 3+ Outputs from one project are targetable — below that it's just three offers.
- Name the per-Output price. The premium is enforced, not optional: at least 1.2× the target's market (their lowest active listing, else the project floor, else mint price).
- Read the terms, then cast.
72 HOURS · PUBLIC · NON-CANCELLABLE.
Casting places a real offer on every one of the target's Outputs at that price. Because PD runs its own offer book, non-cancellable means exactly that — the caster cannot withdraw a single Output of the blanket until the window closes.
Being taken over
The target is pinged the moment the flag goes up, and holds all the cards:
- Cherry-pick. Accept on any subset — sell 3 of 22 at the premium, keep the rest. Each acceptance is a normal offer acceptance.
- Accept everything.
- Refuse by re-listing. You can't counter a takeover directly (that's what makes it hostile), but re-listing Outputs higher mid-window is a visible refusal.
- Ignore it. At 72 hours the window closes on its own.
The public record
An active takeover banners both profiles — TAKEOVER on the caster, UNDER TAKEOVER on the target — with the project, the per-Output price, and the countdown. The blanket's offers appear in the project's Offers book wearing the ⚑ TAKEOVER badge.
When the window closes, the verdict is inscribed:
- COMPLETED — every Output yielded.
- PARTIAL — some yielded, with the count.
- WITHSTOOD — not one Output sold. The target's profile wears this mark for 180 days. It is the biggest flex the mechanic can produce.
Some collectors will become known takeover artists. Some will become famous for withstanding. Both reputations are earned in public.
