PriceStream ⇈
One Output of the catalog at a time, full screen, one swipe to the next. PriceStream is the platform's browsing feed — no grid, no filters to set, nothing to read before you start. You swipe, and the work comes to you.
How: Single-tap the "Price Discussion" name on the home page. (The same name holds two other gestures: long-press for Cartography ◫, triple-tap for The Rewind ◄.)
Closing it puts you back exactly where you were — the page underneath was never navigated away from.
- ①︎ The top row — the wildcard pill (how far the feed strays from the obvious) and the ✕ out.
- ②︎ The art — edge to edge. Double-tap to star, press and hold for the loupe, pinch to zoom.
- ③︎ The rail — share ↗, the project's soundtrack ♫, and the star ★, fixed in place while the art swipes past them.
- ④︎ The read — the Output, its price, the scarcity line when it's true, and who made it.
- ⑤︎ The row — follow the artist, add the Output to your cart, and the ✶ badge when offers are standing on it.
It never ends
The feed tops itself up before you reach the bottom, so there is no wall to hit. Each top-up is handed the Outputs you have already seen so it can bring you new ones; when the catalog is small enough that it runs out of new work, it starts showing you Outputs again rather than stopping. Either way the swipe keeps going.
The first card is a hook, not a random one — the cheapest listed Output on the platform, or failing that the Output with the most offers standing on it. On that first card only, a ⇈ SWIPE nudge says the feed moves; it's gone the moment you move it.
Turn the phone sideways and the feed turns with it: landscape swipes left and right, through Outputs shaped for a wide screen.
What you can do on a card
- Star it ★ — the rail button, or double-tap the art. Double-tap only ever stars — tapping an Output you've already saved replays the ★ and keeps it, so a stray tap can never throw a save away. This is the real Starred list, not a separate feed bookmark.
- Zoom in — pinch and the Output re-renders razor sharp at the new size; there is no stored picture to go blocky, only the math. On a desktop it's ctrl/⌘ and the scroll wheel, since a plain scroll is how the feed moves.
- The loupe — press and hold the art and a round lens opens at 4×, sitting just above your finger and following it. Lift to put it away. Nothing persists; the next card starts clean. (Same pair as the Output page.)
- Play the soundtrack ♫ — starts the project's soundtrack and the circle becomes the miniplayer's spinning disc, docked in that slot. Tap the disc to pause. Swipe to a new Output and you get a fresh ♫ circle for that one.
- Follow the artist — the follow on the card is the artist, not the Output: the follow-worthy identity is the person who made it.
- Share it ↗ — see below.
- Add it to your cart — see below.
The button says what it does
The button on the card adds the Output to your cart. It has never bought anything, so it says + CART with the price beside it, and IN CART once it's there. Checkout happens in the Cart, deliberately, where you can see the whole session's candidates at once.
When an Output isn't listed, the same button reads MAKE OFFER and opens the offer sheet. If offers are already standing on the Output, a ✶ badge beside it carries the count and opens the book on that Output.
Not signed in? Swipe as much as you like. The wall sits on the action, not the feed — and it's a real door: the connect sheet opens, you connect, and you carry on.
Sharing lands people back in the feed
Share from a card and the link is a PriceStream link — it opens the feed on that exact Output, with the rest of the stream stacked underneath, so whoever you sent it to arrives somewhere alive instead of on a still page.
This is deliberately only true of shares from the feed. Share the same Output from a gallery, a project page or its Output page and you get the plain Output link, so a collector who doesn't want the swipe feed is never dropped into it.
Leaving with something
Close the feed having starred anything and PriceStream stops you at the door with what you saved this sitting — each Output, its price or NOT LISTED, and one tap to put the listed ones in your cart. Using it doesn't close it: add them and the card stays open, so you can still head back in. KEEP SWIPING returns you to the feed; the ✕ leaves.
The wildcard pill
Three levels, and it remembers where you left it. The dial is not yet wired to the algorithm — today's feed is a flat sample across the platform, including Outputs you already own. Tuning it to your taste, and making the wildcard actually widen the net, is the next pass.
