Privacy & Terms
Plain language, on purpose. This page is the whole of it — there is no longer version in legalese somewhere else.
Privacy
A wallet is the entire account
PD has no personal-information layer. No email, no name, no phone number, no KYC — you sign in with your Ethereum wallet (SIWE), and that address is your whole identity here. Everything PD knows about you hangs off a public wallet address you chose to connect.
The single exception is opt-in and single-purpose: subscribing to the Dispatch Digest stores the email you give it for exactly that delivery, with one-tap unsubscribe.
What PD stores
The platform keeps the off-chain product working by storing, against your wallet address:
- Your settings and workspace — display modes, colorway, spells, grid presets, notes, to-dos, wishlists, stars. What's Private is the full list of what only you ever see.
- Your social layer — handle, profile, follows, pings, albums, tags, and the rest of what you deliberately display. What's Public is the full list of what everyone sees.
- Native push subscriptions — only if you opt in to 3D Pingtoasts, and only so your own device can be reached; turning them off removes the subscription.
What PD never does
- No ad tracking, no analytics trackers, no third-party pixels. The site does not watch you for anyone.
- No selling or sharing of data. There is no personal data product; the stored state exists to run PD for you, full stop.
- No custody. PD never holds your keys, your funds, or your art.
The chain is public, forever
Everything you do on Ethereum — mints, sales, transfers, the art itself — is public and permanent by nature, readable by anyone with or without PD. That's the medium, not a policy choice. PD reads the chain; it cannot edit it, and neither can anyone else.
PD also writes two things to Arweave, where they are public and permanent too: every account's wallet with the day it joined PD, and each Fair Draw drop's entry list (every entrant's wallet and standing), so anyone can check a draw. See What's Public.
Terms
By using Price Discussion you accept the following:
- You transact at your own risk. On-chain transactions are irreversible. PD surfaces information — prices, floors, rarity, history — but nothing on the platform is financial advice, and floor-value readouts are honest estimates, not promises.
- Wallet-to-wallet means wallet-to-wallet. Purchases, offers, trades, and gnome deals move value directly between users on Ethereum. PD does the books; it never touches the money and cannot reverse, refund, or arbitrate a payment.
- The art's terms are immutable. A Project's on-chain terms at mint are its terms forever — no admin keys, no pausing, no upgrades. The 60-day cooldown is enforced by the factory contract, not by promises.
- The filter is a quality floor. PD is filtered, not curated — the artist whitelist gates entry; it does not editorialize the catalog or endorse any Project as an investment.
- Platform-ledger items live in the platform ledger. Some PD things — gnomes and achievements — exist in PD's own books rather than on-chain, and say so plainly where they live. They are real inside PD and nowhere else. (Stickers settle in the platform ledger during the test phase and move to their on-chain contract at launch.)
- Don't abuse the platform. Impersonation, exploiting bugs, and attacking the service or its users can cost a wallet its off-chain privileges (handles, pings, the social layer). What's on-chain stays yours regardless — PD couldn't take it if it wanted to.
- PD is provided as-is. The platform is young and pre-mainnet surfaces may change; the docs say so when they do.
