Command Stone — Help and How-To
The stone started as a way to ask how PD works, and it still does that best. Two cards cover it: HELP shows what you can type, and HOW TO answers a question from this manual.
How: Type help into the stone, or ask it a question that starts with how, where or what.
The help card
help, commands, menu or what can you do deal the help card: a few real lines for every category, Help first. Tap a row and its line lands in the pill, ready to send. help plus a category name (help stickers, help with market) deals that category alone.
The categories
Every card the stone can deal belongs to one category. The help card is laid out by them, and so are your starred commands. A line the stone answers with a plain search has no category.
| Category | What's in it | Try |
|---|---|---|
| Market | Buy, offer, list, accept, counter, sweep, your offers, deals, bid heat, the Calc, what-if, watches from a sentence, questions about the whole catalog | my offers |
| Stats | Trends, holders, rarity, the good-price read, rankings, firsts and release dates, your recap, your money, why a floor moved, $PRICE and coin cards | wrapped |
| Art | The gallery, what the stone sees, looks-like, your Prynt, taste twins, Projects like one | gallery arcology |
| Colors | Any color looked up, art by feel, your bag in color, today in color, the moods, wear it | color cinnabar |

| Docs | The manual, searched | docs offers |
| Fun | Roast, fortune, the 8-ball, the DJ, jokes, the floor game, sell-out prophecy | roast me |
Ask how to do something
Ask in plain words: how do I…, how to…, where is…, where are my…, what is…, I can't find…. The HOW TO card answers with the one line the manual gives for that thing (each page's How: line), names the page, and offers two more pages in case you meant something else.
- The answer is the manual's own words. The line on the card is the How line of the page that answers, so the stone and this manual never disagree.
- The button opens the feature when it has a door of its own: the Sticker Exchange, Le Dépanneur, your Exchange, Cartography, the Composer, Ping Central, PriceStream, the Dispatch, the Marketplace or PD Studio. Anything else gets READ IT IN THE MANUAL.
- Common questions land on the right page. Buying, selling, listing and offers go to the Secondary Market page; your own offers go to its Offers Desk; selling a sticker sheet goes to the sticker marketplace; trading a keychain goes to the Exchange; your stickers go to the Binder.
- A how-to question names features, not Projects, so a near-miss word is never read as a Project's name.
- When the manual has nothing, the card says THE MANUAL IS SILENT ON THAT. and points at
help. - Gnomes are the exception. Ask the stone about them and it won't say.
Search the manual
docs plus any words searches this manual and lists the five closest pages, each with its section and a line of the page around your words. Tap one to read it. docs alone shows how to use it. Global search reads the same manual: a how-to question typed there lists the same pages.
How: Type docs and your words into the stone, for example docs offers.
