$PRICE Token — Overview
$PRICE is official Price Discussion merch, live on Ethereum mainnet: 100,000,000 tokens, minted once and fixed forever, given to the communities PD comes from.
In one sentence
$PRICE is the official PD token — like the shirt from the merch table instead of a bootleg print — and owning the official one is the whole point; it gives no rights, no revenue and no perks on Price Discussion.
What you can do with it
Hold it, send it to other PDers, and see where you rank on the Top Holders board on @price. The full picture is on Official Merch.
What $PRICE is
A plain fixed-supply ERC-20 — the entire contract is a constructor and an import. 18 decimals, 100,000,000 supply minted in a single mint at deployment, no further mint authority, no admin role, no upgrade path. It transfers like any token.
It's tied to Price Discussion by name, branding and origin — that's what makes it official. It has no contract-level connection to any other PD system: PD's contracts never read it, and no feature behaves differently for holders.
What $PRICE is not
- Not a stake in Price Discussion. No share, equity, ownership or economic interest in PD as a platform or business.
- Not a claim on revenue. Platform proceeds flow through PD's on-chain fee mechanics to PD's wallets; holders have no claim on them.
- Not a vote. PD is not a DAO. There is no proposal system and no governance role.
- Not a key to anything. No mint privileges, no fee discounts, no early access, no gated anything.
