Art License
Version française : Licence d'œuvre.
Last updated October 20, 2026.
What you own
When you hold an Output, you own the token: the on-chain record that this Output is yours, which you can keep, send or sell. The artist keeps the copyright in the art. This license is what lets you enjoy the art you own.
What you may do
For as long as you hold the Output, the artist grants you a free, worldwide license to:
- display the art, privately or publicly, on any screen, in any gallery, online or off;
- share images and recordings of it, credited to the artist and the Project;
- print it for yourself;
- use it as your wallpaper, avatar or profile picture;
- sell or give away the Output; the license moves with it to the next owner.
What you may not do
- Use the art commercially (merchandise, ads, products, paid prints) without the artist's permission.
- Change the art and present the result as the artist's work, or present the art as your own.
- Use the art in anything hateful or illegal.
Artists can grant more than this, publicly, for their own Projects. They can never grant less.
Stickers, keychains and $PRICE
Stickers, keychains and $PRICE are made by PD, so PD grants the same license for them: own them, display them, share them, send or sell them. Commercial use needs PD's permission. PD's name and per-mille logo stay PD's.
When you no longer hold it
When an Output leaves your wallet, your license goes with it. Prints and posts you made while you held it can stay up.
